WOW POLY HAS STARTED ALREADY?

Right... very lazy to blog these few days, or weeks maybe. That would mean this post would be OMFG long?! Yeah.

Let's see.. hmm, oh yeah, let's start from TP's freshmen orientation. When was that? Anyway, to put things short, it was half fun and half boring. None I know in my class. Wasn't really active either. Contrary to that, I'm getting along pretty well in class now. Some friends and stuff. About 5 people including me, live somewhere around Seng Kang estate. That's cool yeah? Haha.

Moving on to actual studying, let's just say some lectures were great and some were only so-so. My favorite so far would be the male lecturer from engineering who is teaching Principles of Management. For tutorials, I must say they aren't boring. My care person is actually great! Though he may seem strict and stuff. This reminds me, about more than half of my class were marked as late for the first APEL tutorial! Oh.. I was late once for Communication Skills tutorial -.- and that has made me wake up earlier everyday. Hah. Well I have to do that since I start at 9am practically almost everday. Except wednesdays where I start at 1pm and end at 2pm.

Economics textbook costs $50+!! Crap. Luckily the rest wasn't that expensive.

Food food food. Where is the best food in TP? Who knows.. nah I lied. Western food at Design and Jupiter are THE BEST in TP. Iced Milo at Design and IT is the best but I still don't really like them. That plate of noodles I ate at the first Engineering canteen was crap. Serious. There's probably more but I have not eaten much varieties at the moment. Ah yes, the Chicken Rice at IT is bleh.

What modules will I learn you say? Check it here.

Computer Systems & Applications would be my strongest since they are covering what I mostly know already. The rest of the subjects are interesting. I might struggle with economics though.

On 29th April 2008, my student ezlink was retained on bus 23A. Oh well, just one more day and it would have expired already. Now, it wasn't my fault nor the bus driver's fault. It was TransitLink or the JCs' fault. I don't know really. But of course I was angry. Luckily I have enough cash with me to be able to activate ($3) + purchase bus concession stamp ($52) + top-up ($10) my poly ezlink on my way back home. My classmates are great! One of them insisted that I use his spare adult ezlink card to sit to Tampines Mall. =D Thanks!

There's something else I want to say. Going home alone is boring especially during peak hours @ 6pm. That jam and crowd seriously eats up a lot of time. I ended at 6 on Monday but I reached home at 7.45pm -.- how great can that be..

Last Saturday was my paternal grandmother's birthday. Here are some pictures:
(Later I will upload them. I cant find them lol)

Now it's 7.40pm and I have not finished the CSA assignment! Stupid instructions. One contradicting another. Anyway I decided to follow what the Course Manager said. Thanks for informing me about that! If not I would have continued to do the other way lol.

Yeah and I also formatted my MacBook and installed Windows XP so that I can dual boot on it. Finally a more stable Windows platform but then I would lose the perks of having Windows running alongside Mac OSX. HOWEVER, (you Elements people, yes you, i'm specifically saying this to you people) I can run games very very well and that means I can finally play properly in Audi and possibly better. I have a delete button now as well lol, "Fn+Backspace". Let's go earn some dens. Haha. OKOK I GO AND ENTER THE CODE AND NAME CHANgE OK -.-

That should be all I would need to say. It would have been more detailed if I blogged on the same day the event happened.

Oh yes. The most important thing I learned in poly: I HAVE TO SHRUG OFF MY SECONDARY SCHOOL LEARNING METHOD of listening in class ONLY. Crazy self revision is needed here. Lazy lazy lazy. Wait. My As and Zs! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzz.... -.- boring.
